Tania Angelova is a Procurement Manager with Glassworks International and has been working directly and indirectly with our business for around 20 Years.
Tania holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, specialising in silicates, as well as further specialisation in advanced glass technology from Osaka National Research Institute in Japan. Her combined technical knowledge and industry experience provide a well-rounded and highly valuable perspective within the glass packaging sector.

Tania Angelova earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering and has worked within the glass packaging industry throughout her illustrious career, covering all aspects of the business including manufacturing, production planning, sales and export responsibilities. She has worked with Glassworks International, directly and indirectly for over 20 years.
She has over 30 years of experience in the glass industry, with a career that spans technical production, international supply chains, and senior commercial roles across Europe. Her career in glass production began in the late 1980s, where she worked within the batch house as a technologist and later as a supervisor overseeing raw materials and incoming quality control. This early hands-on experience gave her a deep understanding of glass production at its most fundamental level.
As her career progressed, Tania moved into commercial and export-focused roles, gaining experience in international markets and customer relationships. By the late 1990s and early 2000s, she was working as an Export Manager, developing a strong understanding of global trade, logistics, and the complexities of supplying glass packaging across different regions.
She then transitioned into senior production planning roles with major European glass manufacturers. In these positions, she was responsible for coordinating production across multiple countries This required a combination of technical expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to manage large-scale operations across diverse markets.
In more recent years, Tania has held senior commercial positions, including Sales Manager and Commercial Director, further strengthening her expertise in business development, customer management, and market strategy within the glass industry.
Tania brings a wealth of valuable experience, expertise and guidance to Glassworks International, where she brings together her technical background and commercial experience to support our customers.
