Our agency and brokering activities are supported by certification to the BRCGS Agents & Brokers Standard, providing customers with assurance that glass packaging is sourced, managed, and overseen through well-defined, controlled, and transparent processes. This certification reflects the structured approach we have embedded within our supply chain management and supplier oversight activities.
To further strengthen this assurance and deliver a truly end-to-end service, we have complemented our agency and brokering certification with accreditation to the BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard. This step ensures that the same high standards applied to sourcing and governance are extended through warehousing, handling, and distribution activities, reinforcing product safety and integrity beyond the point of manufacture.
Our warehouse operations have supported customers for a number of years, and the decision to align them formally with the BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard was a natural progression in our assurance journey. Achieving this required a comprehensive review of facilities, processes, documentation, and day-to-day practices, with a strong focus on risk management, traceability, training, housekeeping, and continual improvement.
A key contributor to this progress has been our Warehouse Manager, Matty Hedley. Matty brought extensive practical experience and a disciplined, methodical approach to warehouse management. Under his leadership, best practice has been embedded into daily operations, supported by a strong culture of accountability and ownership across the team. His commitment and attention to detail played an important role in aligning the operation with BRCGS requirements.
